The ramblings of a twenty year old. Who aspires to teach. & currently tutors too much. |
Since a year really has gone by, I thought I would post what I can remember of 2009; so here are the quotes that still come to mind;
“You know what’s really sad, she’s already twenty-five and she’s not married” – Tracy, Year 2
“Miss, Miss, My meat is showing!” – Frances, Year 2 in regards to her paper cut.
“I am going to get married at 14” – The aspirations of year 2s.
“Once your twenty, your looks just go downhill” – Oh, thank you. Year 11
“Is bogan a nationality?” – Year 12.
“I don’t like him because his cute, it’s really his personality” – Year 5, on love.
“Miss, Miss…how would you kill me?” – Really loves doing his work, Year 6.
“ummm, I called you to ask what was for homework” – 20 minutes before class, year 8.
“You’re half forty” – Year 12.
“What’s a poet?” – Year 12, Advanced English.
“NO YOU WONT, YOU ARE SOFT, YOU ARE SOFT MISS” - Year 6, that I am never taking again.
“Tell me, Tell me miss, Tell me I’m annoying… I want you to mean it!” - Year 10.
“Are you an adult or a child…no, you’re a child, you’re so tiny” – Edison
“I swear I did my homework, but I was in a rush, so I tore it when I left the house, now I just have the front page and it just has the spelling list, but I swear I did it” – Excuses, year 6.
Looking back, I haven’t remembered much! Oh dear.
